About
Blast Billiards...
The first version
of Blast Billiards was developed by Alick Stott and
Richard Pendry of Mousebreaker
Ltd in the spring of 2001. Although it was a very
simple version with simple graphics and basic collision
detection, they quickly realised the addictive nature
of the game.
This first version
was by far the most popular game on the first Mousebreaker
website, and very quickly gathered a regular following.
It was licensed to a few clients in different countries
in the first year while the lads worked on developing
the improved version that became the Original Blast
Billiards that you see on this site.
Next up was
Trick Blast Billiards - an obvious move-on that was
nicely augmented by the new orange baize table!
By now Blast
Billiards was fast becoming one of the most searched-for
games on the web, and a few illegal unlicensed copies
started appearing on other games websites.
In the summer
of 2003, and after a deluge of emails from regular
players, Mousebreaker developed Ultimate Blast Billiards,
or Blast Billiards 4. With a massive 15 themed levels
of increasing difficulty, plus a killer punch at the
end, it took the web by storm.
However some
players were still hungry for more, and in
July 2004 Mousebreaker released Blast Billiards 5
- Deluxe Blast Billiards. With a whopping 22 dastardly
levels and only 2 save points it should provide enough
frustration for even the most addicted Blast Billiards
players... at least for now!
Will that be
it? The end of the Blast Billiards line? We doubt
it!
Accept no substitute
- make it Mousebreaker's Blast Billiards series!
